We are seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of a residential apartment community in Scottsboro, AL.

This position is ideal for someone with previous maintenance experience who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting issues, and helping maintain a safe and well-kept property environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair duties throughout the apartment community
• Complete work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance
• Assist with maintaining community appearance and quality standards
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine repair solutions
• Support apartment turns and prepare units for new residents
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and repair tasks
• Work closely with management to maintain property standards
• Prioritize daily tasks and manage time effectively

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of verifiable maintenance experience required
• Previous apartment, property, facilities, or building maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC certification and hands-on HVAC experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift, move, and perform physical maintenance duties as needed
