Job Description

Our client, a leading law firm with a sophisticated Structured Products practice, is seeking a paralegal to support its derivatives and structured products team. The group advises leading financial institutions and clients on a broad range of structured securities transactions, including notes, warrants, certificates, structured bank deposits, and products linked to a variety of underlying asset classes and investment strategies.

Responsibilities

\n
• Prepare and manage documentation for structured securities issuances governed by U.S. and international law
\n
• Draft, review, and coordinate the execution of offering documents and related transaction materials
\n
• Assist with regulatory filings for structured securities transactions with applicable U.S. and international regulators
\n
• Conduct legal and regulatory research relating to structured products and securities offerings
\n
• Review transaction filings and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to submission
\n
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other transaction participants regarding outstanding deals and required deliverables
\n
• Maintain detailed records of client transactions, deal histories, and related documentation
\n
• Track transaction deadlines and coordinate deal-related administrative requirements across multiple concurrent matters

Qualifications

\n

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field
\n
• Experience in securities, banking, financial markets, structured products, or a related legal or professional environment preferred
\n
• Strong interest in financial markets and structured securities
\n
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions and strict deadlines
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
\n
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members
\n
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
\n
• Willingness to support early working hours and overtime as needed
