How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Lead daily unit operations and shift planning, exercising sound clinical judgment to balance patient dynamics, physician needs, and team resources for seamless shift delivery.

• Empower and mentor nursing and support staff through direct oversight, education, and continuous feedback to foster an engaged, high-performing specialty care team.

• Manage balanced, population-appropriate care assignments to ensure exceptional patient outcomes while meeting operational productivity goals.

• Advocate for patients and families by proactively addressing care concerns through official channels to maintain high satisfaction and quality standards.

• Equip the care team with essential materials and clinical resources, removing operational friction so nurses can focus on delivering direct, compassionate patient care.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
