This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients in our community while growing your clinical career in a supportive environment.Responsibilities:Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and proceduresRecord patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately in the EMR systemPrepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sanitation and supply stockingAdminister injections, vaccinations, and perform phlebotomy as directedProcess and manage lab specimens, referrals, and prior authorizationsEducate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructionsMaintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical safety standardsRequirements:High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferredCMA (AAMA), RMA, or equivalent medical assistant certification preferred1+ year of clinical medical assistant experience in a healthcare settingProficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) softwareStrong phlebotomy and clinical skills including vital signs and injectionsExcellent bedside manner with a patient-centered approach to careCurrent CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hireAbout Us:The Neighborhood Clinic is a trusted community healthcare provider in Mesa, AZ, committed to delivering accessible, high-quality medical care to patients of all backgrounds.
