Job Description: Supports the healthcare team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to students and faculty across all ASU Health Services clinic locations in the Phoenix metro area (West, Tempe, Polytechnic, and Downtown). Downtown is the primary site, with occasional travel to other ASU Health Services clinics. This is a pension eligible medical assistant position with front and back-office responsibilities. Provides direct patient care assistance, scheduling and registration support, phone queue management, referral coordination, and clinical procedures support to ensure efficient and seamless clinic operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, rooming patients, managing patient flow, obtaining and documenting vital signs, performing lab draws, serving as a chaperone, assisting providers with medical procedures, scheduling and registering patients, managing the integrated call center queue, completing referral documentation, and supporting quality assurance reporting.
