Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Cardiac monitoring and emergency response: Telemetry - remote monitoring, use of Rapid Response Teams. - Gastrointestinal case skills/experience: Colostomy care, feeding tube care and management. - IV therapy/phlebotomy skills/experience: Accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs. - Medication experience: Heparin, insulin, PCA. - Neurological/psychiatric case skills/experience: CVA, pre/post neuro surgery, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury. - Experience with surgical drains required. - Respiratory case skills/experience: Chest tubes - Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, pre/post thoracic surgery, tracheostomy management. - Professional knowledge and skills: Isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac. - Continuous bladder irrigation experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. - Teaching hospital experience preferred.

Special Requests: - RTO restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Neuro patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: - 4x12 or 3x12s nights ). - Will work every other weekend. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Will float as needed.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 2

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required
