Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team. The Medical Laboratory Scientist will perform a variety of complex laboratory procedures and analyses to assist in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating diseases. Key responsibilities include:

1. Conducting routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and blood banking
2. Analyzing and interpreting laboratory test results
3. Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments
4. Ensuring compliance with laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (CLIA, CAP, etc.)
5. Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities
6. Collaborating with healthcare providers to interpret patient data and contribute to patient care decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
• ASCP certification (or equivalent) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) is preferred
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques across various disciplines
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) and proficiency in using computerized instruments and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with healthcare providers and patients
