Responsibilities of a  Unit Manager :

• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the nursing unit.
• Supervise and lead a team of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive care to residents.
• Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and update care plans accordingly.
• Implement and monitor infection control measures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Participate in staff development and training programs.

Qualifications of a  Unit Manager :

• Valid RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in a long-term care setting.
