Provides analysis related to the design, development and implementation.Responsibilities:Generate hardware and firmware requirements specifications based on System requirementsDevelop top-level and detailed designs based on hardware / firmware requirementsDevelop test plan (unit test build-up integration)Define/document interfaces between hardware subassembliesGenerate/modify test procedures and perform/monitor testingSystems/V&V support for hardware/software integration (HIS), Design validation testing (DVT), Acceptance test procedure (ATP), testing in the field and testing that is customer-witnessedCustomer/vendor/sub-contractor interactionsProvide hardware resource utilization estimates & measurementsParticipate in peer reviews of both hardware and firmwareMentor & direct junior level Electrical Engineers [Eng. I and Eng II]Present at PDR, CDR, TIMsGenerate schedule inputs for cost/scheduleResponsible for hardware integration and test of the HWCI circuit including Firmware implementationPerform tasks according to budget and scheduleUses computer assisted engineering and design hardware/firmware and equipment to perform engineering tasksPrepares status reports, as required.Implement high speed Digital Signal Processing (DSP) functions in an FPGA (digital filters, FFT…)Experience:Experience 10+ yearsFirmware – High Speed FW Design (300 Mhz)Firmware – Digital FiltersFirmware – FFTFirmware – RADAR Signal Processing – desired.Firmware – DO-254 DAL A or DAL C experience.Board – High Speed DesignBoard – XILINX – RFSOC and MPOSCBoard – DDR5 memoryBoard – Point of load power distributionIntegration and Test – Board – Ability to debug complex HW at board and box level.Integration and Test – FW – Ability to debug complex FW and verify against a system model.Tools – Matlab modeling for Firmware designTools – XILINX Simulink for Firmware designEducation:Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringOther:Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when necessary for work on a project that requires such a clearance.Compensation and Benefits:TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:$122,655 - $215,704Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment.
