Travel Physical Therapist - $1,840 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition Use Medical Center computer systems in the performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply Must have a BLS certification and state-specific licensing Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology 2 years of experience may be required for certain assignments Job ID: TotalMed Allied #1406007.
