Thoracic Surgeon

• Schedule: Call Only, 7A to 7A; approximately 20 shifts per month; ASAP through 11/28/2026
• Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Types of Cases: Cardiothoracic Surgery including general CV/thoracic surgery (open and endoscopic), CABG (on-pump and off-pump), valvular repair and replacement, aneurysm repair (cardiac and aorto-thoracic), lung resection including VATs, chest wall and pleural procedures, esophagus and diaphragm surgeries, congenital defect repair, permanent pacemaker placement, AICD, left ventricular assist devices, TAVR, vent management, bronchoscopy, central/arterial/PA catheter line insertion, IABP insertion; vascular surgery including open and endovascular procedures, aorto-abdominal aneurysm repair, aorto-femoral/iliac bypass, fem-pop bypass, carotid and renal endarterectomy, subclavian steal procedure
• Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days; temporary privileges not available; admissions required; hospital/surgery center privileges required
• EMR: Epic

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
• Licensure: Must be licensed in Missouri only; IMLC not accepted
