Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education and Elementary Certification (required)
Experience working with students with severe/profound needs
Minimum of 1 year in a special education teaching role
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
Positive, flexible, and resourceful attitude
Dedication to fostering an inclusive environment for all learners

Role Responsibilities:

Design and deliver individualized instruction to students with significant needs
Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Communicate progress and challenges effectively to parents and staff
Foster a supportive, structured classroom that promotes student independence and growth
Utilize evidence-based practices and adaptive technology
Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
