Job Opportunity: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

UT Health East Physicians, CVC Clinic is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant (or Nurse Practitioner) to join our cardiology team at UT Health Athens and our Cardiovascular Clinic.

About the Position:

2-5 years of cardiology experience required

Combination of inpatient and outpatient clinic responsibilities

Schedule: MondayThursday, 8:00 a.m.5:30 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m.12:00 p.m.

Patient load: 1520 patients per day

Split schedule between UT Health Athens in the mornings and the Cardiology Clinic in the afternoons

Inpatient responsibilities include performing consults, evaluating ED patients, and overseeing stress tests

Outpatient responsibilities include evaluating new and established patients with cardiac conditions and performing comprehensive history and physical examinations

Additional shifts are available and compensated

Collaborate with two cardiologists
