Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and individualized evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic strategies for each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients in various formats, including individual, couples, and group therapy sessions.

• Employ a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies, to address clients' unique needs.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients, sharing insights and strategies for effective treatment.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as workshops and training, to enhance your skills and stay updated on current mental health practices and research.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Brightside, your primary focus will be on working with diverse individuals seeking support for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will play a critical role in guiding clients toward improved mental well-being, helping them navigate their experiences, and develop coping strategies for everyday life.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
