Day Porter

About the Role The Day Porter position is located onsite in Bridgman, MI. This will be a short-term contract role starting mid-September and lasting until about mid-October. You will be part of a team that keeps the facility clean. You will report to the Utility Supervisor. The work schedule includes overtime. Key Responsibilities Removal of dirt and dust from floor area and connecting rooms, ramps, and walkways using standard cleaning techniques. Dispose of all liquid cleaning solutions per client direction. Pull trash and replace liners. Ensure that you clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets and sinks. Disinfect high-touch service areas and refill disinfectant dispensers. Provide facility users a healthy environment by using appropriate cleaning methods and products. Protect everyone's safety by using properly labeled chemicals, warning others of hazards e.g. appropriate use of wet floor signs and reporting safety concerns. Qualifications High School Diploma or educational equivalent. Must be age 18 or older. Salary The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $16/hour to $17/hour.
