Service Technician

Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area Company Description We are Pro-Tech Systems LLC, a proudly-owned Veteran company. Founded in 2021, we have grown to service all of South Carolina, as well as North Carolina and Georgia. We specialize in security and network systems integration for large commercial companies. As a service technician, you would be responsible for the installation and maintenance of access control systems, vehicle and pedestrian entry systems, and CCTV systems at our clients’ properties. Role Description This is a 1099 contract role for a Service Technician located in the Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area. The service technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing electronic security systems. The technician will troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance checks, and ensure systems are operating efficiently and effectively. Additional tasks include providing customer support, training clients on system use, and documenting service activities. Must have reliable form of transportation. Starting hourly wage is $20 - $35 an hour based on experience. Potential for permanent position with salary after 3 months! Qualifications Proficiency in installing and maintaining electronic security systems Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Knowledge of routine maintenance procedures and system checks Strong customer support skills and ability to train clients on system use Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills Ability to work independently and manage on-site tasks effectively Relevant certifications in electronic systems maintenance are a plus High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are preferred Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology #J-18808-Ljbffr Pro-Tec Systems LLC
