Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorMORryde is growing, and we're looking for experienced Quality Inspectors to join our team!We are currently hiring Quality Inspectors to support several areas of our manufacturing operations, including our Chassis Division, Robotic Welding Department, and Baggage Door Assembly Department.As a Quality Inspector at MORryde, you'll play an important role in ensuring our products meet established quality standards before they reach our customers. We're looking for someone who has a strong eye for detail, experience using measuring equipment, solid print-reading skills, and a commitment to producing quality work.What You'll DoAs part of the MORryde Quality Team, you will:Perform inspections on manufactured partsUse measuring equipment to verify products meet required specificationsRead and interpret printsIdentify quality concerns and determine when corrective action is neededAssist with root cause analysis and corrective action solutionsCreate and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and other technical quality documentsConduct product and process auditsCommunicate quality concerns clearly with production teams, Supervisors, Plant Managers, Engineering, and other Quality Team membersHelp ensure MORryde products consistently meet our internal quality standards and customer expectationsWork independently to manage daily responsibilities and quality goals while maintaining a team-focused approachRequirementsPrevious inspection, quality control, or manufacturing quality experienceExperience using basic measurement and inspection equipmentAbility to read and interpret printsStrong tape measure and mathematical skillsAbility to write work instructions and process documentationStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsAbility to work independently and manage prioritiesCustomer-focused attitude with a sense of urgencyBasic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong interpersonal skills and a team-player mentalityAbility to consistently lift up to 60 lbs.Previous PPAP documentation experience is a plus.Why MORryde?MORryde offers competitive pay and benefits along with a positive, clean, and safe manufacturing environment.
