We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensures products meet safety, manufacturing, and regulatory standards. Reporting directly to the Quality Supervisor. This role requires a candidate who is extremely detail-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable.

• Inspection: inspect components, and parts for conformance to specifications, following: oBlue prints
• Drawings oProduction travelers
• Measuring: Measures parts and plated areas for conformance, uniformity and thickness to specified dimensions, using precision measuring instruments, such as: oMicrometers
• Vernier calipers oGauges
• Micrometers oDial indicators
• Examination and Recording: examine parts for surface defects, such as chips, scratches, and pinholes, or dark plating areas. Examines production documents to ensure that all inspecting, and testing steps were performed according to specifications. Records inspection data, such as type and percent of defects, and rework required.
• Functional and Operational Testing: Using electronic test equipment, such as: oXray
• Also, performs destructive testing to determine adhesion of product or part oAlso, performs solder testing using molten solder
• Authority: Has authority to reject plated parts deemed nonconformant, in addition to, reject incoming material as noncompliant prior to processing.
Qualifications & Skills
• Education & Experience: 13 years of relevant work experience
• Required Skills: Instrument/tool experience: oMicroscope
• Micrometer oCaliper
• Gages

Preferred Skills: Willingness to learn and be cross-trained in other areas of production

Physical Demands & Work Environment: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and spend long hours sitting at a desk

Compensation & Benefits
• Salary Range: $19.00 and up, dependent on experience and education.
