Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Lowndes, a business law firm, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join its Client Development Department. This position is responsible for the day-to-day execution of social media, email communications, website updates and branded marketing materials while also supporting firm events and other client development initiatives.

The ideal candidate has strong writing and proofreading skills, sound visual judgment and experience using Canva to create clean, professional materials. During the interview process you may be asked to provide a writing sample and visual sample.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the firm's social media content, including drafting posts, creating graphics and maintaining the content calendar.
• Proofread, format and distribute client alerts, newsletters, invitations and other email communications.
• Maintain website content, including articles, news, events, attorney biographies and practice information.
• Design print and digital materials, including magazine and sponsorship ads, invitations and social media graphics.
• Format and brand attorney presentations, proposals, pitch materials and other client-facing documents.
• Coordinate attorney headshots, awards, nominations, directory updates and promotional products.
• Edit and publish basic video and podcast content.
• Support firm events, database maintenance, reporting and other departmental projects.
• Process invoices, reimbursements and marketing- and event-related expenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Relevant experience gained through employment, internships, freelance work, campus involvement or related projects.
• Proficiency in Canva or a comparable design platform.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, with close attention to accuracy and consistency.
• Familiarity with professional social media, email marketing and website content management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Professional judgment and discretion when working with attorneys and confidential information.
