Project Manager

Description As Project Manager in the project management office, you will lead and manage projects that involve the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and solutions. Your role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, and effective project‑management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. Responsibilities In this role you’ll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Your day will involve developing comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones and timelines; allocating and coordinating resources (engineers, technicians, equipment and materials); providing technical guidance and expertise to engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle; establishing strong communication channels with clients to understand requirements, provide updates and address concerns; and monitoring project budgets and expenditures to stay within financial targets. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Previous experience in electrical engineering, project management, or a related role; Experience with utilities, electrical system design, installation and maintenance projects; 10 years experience or greater, or 5 years’ experience plus PMP certification; Curious and active listener: a deep hunger to learn, willingness to think outside the box, a habit of asking questions, and recognition that “hearing” differs from “listening.” Resilient and self‑motivated: always striving to build on previous successes; Detail oriented: the little things matter; Collaborative: success is shared and is better when everyone contributes.
