Activities Director

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Activities Director to plan, coordinate, and oversee a variety of recreational and social activities for our community in Creve Coeur, MO. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging programs that promote wellness, social interaction, and personal growth among participants. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage a diverse calendar of activities and events tailored to the interests and needs of the community. Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of activities. Promote activities through various communication channels to maximize participation. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make improvements as needed. Maintain accurate records of attendance, budgets, and supplies related to activities. Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and organizational policies. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants. Qualifications Degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, Education, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in planning and directing activities or events, preferably in a community, senior living, memory care or recreational setting. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
