Activity Director (Long Term Care) – Join Our Team! We are seeking a dedicated Activity Director to lead and grow our long‑term care activity program. Activity Director Responsibilities

• Conduct resident assessments to identify interests, needs, and appropriate recreational activities
• Plan and lead daily activities that promote socialization, communication, and overall mental health
• Encourage and support resident participation in group and individual programs
• Coordinate activities with volunteers, staff, and community groups while aligning with facility routines
• Organize events, entertainment, games, crafts, and seasonal celebrations
• Maintain a warm, welcoming environment through decorations, bulletin boards, and personalized resident spaces
• Motivate residents to stay active, engaged, and connected within the community
• Oversee the activity program and provide additional support to residents needing special attention
• Ensure activity areas are clean, organized, and ready before and after each session

Activity Director Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with activities, crafts, or recreation programs
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
