Appellate Litigation Associate

A band 1 Chambers ranked, V-10 firm are looking to hire into their Appellate practice in Washington D.C. This is a rare opportunity as this team doesn't tend to hire often but given recent growth earlier in the year, there is demand for a mid-level Associate. You will be joining an award-winning Appellate practice that is one of the largest and most experienced in the US. They brief, argue and win high-profile disputes in the U.S. Supreme Court and federal and state appellate courts. Associates typically work on cases in a range of judicial and administrative venues beyond traditional appellate courts, including assisting with dispositive motions and other key submissions in trial court. What's unique about joining this practice is that it is one of the most fluid within the firm meaning whilst you may be focused on the Appellate side, you will gain exposure to a whole range of practice areas and the Partners within them. You'll also get the opportunity to work alongside all of the Partners within the Appellate Practice who have years of knowledge and experience, and Associates have reported fantastic mentorship and close working relationships.
