We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support transportation scheduling operations for a Contract position based in Tinley Park, Illinois. This role focuses on coordinating trip assignments, maintaining accurate scheduling records, and delivering dependable service to riders and provider partners. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assign transportation trips across multiple service providers to support daily operations.

• Create, adjust, and maintain paratransit schedules in Trapeze while aligning plans with established organizational guidelines.

• Manage recurring, advance, and same-day trip requests with a high level of accuracy and attention to timing.

• Work closely with dispatch and reservations teams to keep trip information current and service running smoothly.

• Balance rider needs, operating efficiency, and available resources when making scheduling decisions.

• Monitor schedules and trip activity to help meet defined service, productivity, and performance expectations.

• Provide customer service support through inbound and outbound communication related to trip coordination and updates.

• Complete additional tasks as needed to support transportation and scheduling functions.

The salary range for this position is $18 to $18.50. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. • High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of experience in reservations, dispatch, or a related customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across teams.
• Experience handling inbound and outbound calls in a call center or service-focused setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage order entry, scheduling details, and trip information accurately.
• Familiarity with Trapeze software is preferred.
