What You'll Do:

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities through formal and informal assessments
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance
• Collaborate with physicians to coordinate and update patient care plans
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding diagnoses, prognosis, and intervention strategies
• Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, aides, and students
• Recommend adaptive equipment and assist in securing necessary tools
• Document patient progress and treatment details accurately
• Act as a case manager for assigned patients, ensuring quality care and communication
• Promote occupational therapy awareness within the community and through outreach

What You Need:

• Valid Michigan state Occupational Therapy license
• 1+ years of relevant clinical experience (preferred but not required)
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform physical requirements as outlined in the job description
