Summary

Join MyMichigan Health as an Occupational Therapist providing primarily acute care with outpatient rehabilitation services. This full-time opportunity offers competitive pay, a $14,000 sign-on bonus , and the chance to work with a collaborative multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Schedule

Day Shift
Option 1: Sunday (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) & Monday–Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Option 2: Tuesday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM) & Saturday (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Weekend rotation required

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide occupational therapy services in acute care and outpatient settings.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home programs.
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs), aides, and students.
Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) (Required)
NBCOT Certification (Required)
BLS Certification (Within 1 month of hire – Highly Preferred)
1+ year of experience preferred (New graduates are welcome to apply)
AOTA Membership preferred
