This fast-paced unit is dedicated to working together as a cohesive team while fostering a caring environment for all patients.Unit Specifics\n \n Number of Beds: 39\n Patient Ratios: 4:1 (with surge beds assigned to each section)\n Staffing Description: Includes a free lead, unit clerk, behavioral health sitters, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs.\n Type of Equipment: Rapid Infuser, Glidescope\n Documentation System: Meditech EDM\n Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend\n Floating Policy: N/A\n Patient Experience Focus: Emphasis on teamwork in care and individual attention to patients.\n Qualifications\n \n Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar settings, with competence in managing critical care infusions, sedation practices, ESI, and acute codes.\n Advanced Skills: Proficiency in handling STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis cases, with preferred experience in Trauma.\n Procedures Performed: Intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting.\n Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI.\n Dress Code\n Charcoal grey scrubs are required for all staff.Awards & Recognition\n Our department takes pride in exceptional patient care and teamwork.
