Inspection Coordinator

This role involves coordinating schedules, documenting findings, communication with relevant parties, and ensuring corrective actions are taken. Minimum Qualifications: Technical knowledge:Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles of elevators, escalators, and related equipment. Attention to detail:Strong ability toidentifypotential hazards, defects, and code violations. Communication skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders. Organizational skills:Strong ability to manage a workload, coordinate schedules, andmaintaindetailed records. Preferred Qualifications: Experience:Previousexperience in elevator inspection, installation, repair, or maintenanceisrequired. Codeexpertise:In-depth knowledge of state and local elevator codes and regulations, such as the American National Standard Safety Code for Elevators. Blueprint comprehension:Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and installation drawings. Responsibilities: Coordination and scheduling:Schedule and organize inspections for elevator and escalator systems. Technicalassistance:Providetechnical guidance to inspectors and other staff. Inspection execution:Conduct on-site inspections to verify compliance with safety codes and regulations. Plan review: Examine elevator and escalator work plans and specifications to ensure they meet code requirements. Documentation:Prepare detailed reports oninspectionfindings, deficiencies, andrequiredcorrective actions. Compliance tracking:Follow up on previouslyidentifiedviolations to confirm that necessary repairs have been completed. Communication:Clearly communicate inspection results and requirements to building owners, maintenance personnel, and regulatory authorities. Data management:Maintainrecords using relevant software and mobile devices.
