Fuel your career with GEODIS and discover endless growth opportunities.Your role on the team:Structures, drafts, redlines and negotiates complex commercial agreements and contractsWork with multiple business teams to draft detailed and complex statements of work and other key exhibits and documentsAdvises executives within the company and works alongside employees in the Freight Forwarding and Transportation Management units in addition to Corporate Support functionsAdvises executive team on contract status and legal risks in new commercial venturesManages various projects and meets tight corporate deadlinesProvides training and development support to Paralegals within departmentMaintains strong working knowledge of legislative changes that may affect company, customers, and/or affiliatesPerforms pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rightsEffectively communicates legal risks with executive staffWhat you need:Membership in good standing with at least one state bar required.Must be able to practice law in at least one state; will need to get TN bar license or in-house license if hired.4+ years of legal experience as a transactional attorney, preferably with experience in commercial transactions/contracts.
