Commercial HVAC Apprentice Service Technician - Union

Step into a role where you don’t just work on HVAC systems—you redefine service excellence. What you’ll do Inspect and maintain air‑conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in heating and cooling units. Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, including thermostatic controls and liquid lines. Service refrigeration equipment including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps. Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems and adjust internal control systems. Assemble and install metal ductwork and assist in HVAC system planning and design. Ensure compliance with City, State, and EPA regulations by maintaining detailed maintenance records. Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with management to support safety and operational standards. Required Qualifications Ability to push / pull / lift 50 lbs. Stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods, climb a ladder, and work on rooftops. High School Diploma/GED. EPA Universal certification. Valid and current driver’s license and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier. Preferred Qualifications Basic understanding of building automation controls. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience using Salesforce and ServiceMax is a plus. Benefits 401k.
