Job Description

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation and standard cost updates.
• Collaborate with plant management to monitor budgets and provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sr Plant Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
