Senior Plant Accountant Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for plant operations
• Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, overhead, materials) and provide actionable insights
• Manage inventory accounting, cycle counts, and reconciliations
• Support month-end close including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Partner with operations to monitor costs and improve profitability
• Track capital expenditures and support fixed asset accounting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
