We're looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Sales Specialist to help grow a local partner network across North Dakota communities. This position combines business development, community engagement, and customer relationship management, giving you the opportunity to work directly with local business owners while building a strong pipeline of prospective partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit prospective businesses throughout an assigned territory and introduce partnership opportunities.
• Build relationships with local business owners, community organizations, and referral partners.
• Qualify interested businesses and guide them through the application and onboarding process.
• Manage prospect activity, follow-ups, and pipeline tracking within Salesforce.
• Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and local outreach initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting, and customer communications.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the partnership journey.
• Consistently drive engagement and growth within your territory.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, recruiting, account management, or a related field.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout your territory.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid field and remote position supporting communities throughout North Dakota. Candidates may be based in Fargo or Grand Forks, with regular travel throughout the surrounding region to meet with local businesses and attend community events. You can expect to spend approximately four days per week in the field, conducting outreach, building relationships, and supporting recruitment efforts. One day each week is typically dedicated to administrative responsibilities, including managing Salesforce, updating prospect records, preparing reports, and planning upcoming activities. This role offers a high level of autonomy while providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through community engagement and partnership development.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
