About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President (Shelter Director) to lead its family shelter program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all staff comply with the organization's and funders' policies and rules, overseeing program operations, and managing a team to deliver quality services to clients. This role involves direct supervision of staff, development and implementation of quality assurance measures, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The Vice President will also be involved in staff training, crisis intervention, and will serve as a liaison with community leaders to build support and address any issues. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field, with a license in social work, mental health counseling, or a related area. A minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience in a similar role is required, preferably in a mid-sized organization. The role demands a candidate with the ability to be on call 24/7, and who is adept at problem-solving, staff management, and client relations. Bi-lingual skills are preferred. The Vice President will be expected to proactively create solutions, address complaints, and ensure a safe and secure environment for both staff and clients.
