Administrative Assistant (Healthcare) - Location: Glenview & Gilroy, CA (Rotating Between Clinics) Job Type: Full-Time | Contract Assignment Schedule: M,T,W, and F 8-5 TH 10 - 7 Contract Length: 53 Weeks (Potential for Long-Term Assignment) Start Date: August 3, 2026 Join a Mission-Driven Healthcare Organization We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support clinic operations and help create a welcoming environment for patients from diverse backgrounds. Position Summary The Administrative Assistant serves as a key member of the clinic team, supporting front office operations, patient intake, scheduling, data entry, and administrative functions. This position will rotate between the Glenview and Gilroy clinic locations and requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments Verify patient demographics and insurance information Process patient registration and check-in/check-out procedures Maintain accurate electronic medical records in EPIC Scan, upload, and organize patient documentation Collect payments and assist with administrative paperwork Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality Support daily clinic operations and administrative projects as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school or six months to one year related Administrative Assistant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
