Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including thorough physical examinations and in-depth medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and lab test results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative support, assisting with room preparations, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing instruments with precision during surgeries
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, comprising medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Background

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant is required
