Position Overview Civil Project Coordinator – Projects team member on nuclear projects in New Jersey. Anticipated project duration: July 2026 – March 2027. The coordinator’s primary responsibility is to coordinate activities before field implementation, allowing supervisors to focus on craft and enhancing site performance. Responsibilities Meet with the project manager and engineering to discuss the project design plan and schedule a walk‑down. Provide a written review of the proposed project to the client upon completion of the walk‑down. Develop a risk matrix with the manager to identify all areas of concern that may pose risks during project implementation. Work with the estimator to provide a budgetary estimate (±10%) for the project manager to secure funding. Create a project schedule using the site team leads (mechanical, electrical, and civil) and the site project lead. Coordinate procurement of parts and materials with the planner, and provide a weekly status of long‑lead items. Control and monitor the project budget, reporting weekly progress for hours worked versus earned value. Prepare a written close‑out report outlining all completed work, closed packages, and proper turnover to the client. Physical Requirements Visual acuity for preparing, analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer, reading, inspecting, and operating machinery. Balancing, stooping, reaching, lifting objects more than 15 pounds, walking, repetitive motion, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Manual dexterity and grasping for tasks that use fingers. Climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, etc. Hearing, talking, ability to read and write complex documents in English. Capacity to think, concentrate, and focus for long periods. Ability to reason, make sound decisions, and express thoughts orally. Expertise required in equipment usage such as masks, respirators, bullet‑proof vests, or other gear. Ability to wear protective equipment regularly at the company office or worksite. Ability to withstand environmental conditions such as extreme heat or cold, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, or noise. Salary In compliance with New Jersey’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $95,000 – $171,000. Final compensation may vary based on experience and geographic location.
