Clinic Manager

The Clinic Manager is accountable for the supervision and implementation of methods and procedures involved in operating a doctor's office or group of doctors' offices.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising the initiation of billing, posting of daily charges and adjustments to outpatient accounts.
• Supervising preparation of daily bank deposits and preparation of daily income register.
• Accounting for clinic cash receipts and deposits with Business Office daily.
• Supervising maintenance of clinic records and office expenditures.
• Coordinating activities within the clinic and various hospital departments.
• Selecting, training, evaluating, and disciplining clinic employees.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate degree plus one (1) year experience in the management of a segment of a health care program.

OR

Two (2) years experience in a hospital Business Office, one of which should be in a hospital/doctors office and at least one year of supervisory experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Basic knowledge of business and clinic procedures.

Ability to work and deal effectively and harmoniously with groups, individuals, and physicians.

Familiarity with physician's office machines and equipment.
