STOREROOM ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time STOREROOM ATTENDANT position. We’re TouchPoint Support Services, and our mission is to serve up hospitality for patients, families, and visitors at Ascension Health hospitals across the U.S. From meals to facilities to patient support, our work creates moments that matter. Job Summary Responsible for receiving, storing, and inventorying all departmental supplies and food items, while maintaining sanitation in storage areas. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inventories and maintains necessary food and other supplies to ensure efficient operation of the Food Service Department. Stores food and supplies in correct containers and in proper storage areas according to department guidelines. Maintains records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable food items per standards. Dates, labels, and rotates stock according to procedures, ensuring the oldest product is utilized first. Orders food and supplies based upon product specifications as established by company ordering protocols. Secures designated areas from potential theft, dangerous chemicals, supplies and equipment to safeguard associates, following all security procedures regarding storeroom organization. Transports food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure safe arrival. Follows HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies. Reports needed maintenance or repairs of equipment to proper resources. Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures on a timely base, meeting all deadlines. Identifies and utilizes cleaning chemicals per manufacturer directions and MSDS sheets, and uses equipment according to department safety procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior inventory, warehouse, or storeroom experience preferred.
