Job Title

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 32 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Start Time 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to adult and geriatric patients on an 18-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit
• Treat patients with diagnoses including stroke, Parkinson's disease, joint replacement, and orthopedic and neurological conditions
• Utilize Epic EHR to document patient care, progress, and treatment plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals
• Float to other units within the hospital as needed based on ARU census

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Missouri; compact license accepted
• Completion of all required hospital onboarding and facility-required trainings
• Ability to work day shift hours in an acute rehabilitation setting
• Team-oriented attitude with openness to feedback

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1 or more years of physical therapy experience; new graduates will be considered
• Experience working with adult and geriatric populations in an acute or rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with Epic EHR
