Schedule: Full-time, day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 143 weeks Guaranteed Hours: TBD

Requirements: At least 2 years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical setting Maintain certification as a Medical Assistant BLS Certification

Roles & Responsibilities: Perform clinical support procedures under the supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician. Execute blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests, and other relevant procedures within scope of MA certification. Assist physicians in examinations by taking vital signs such as blood pressure and pulse. Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in examination rooms. Handle patient communications, including phone calls and instructions as directed by the physician. Manage medical records, including referral forms and lab slips, as required by the physician. Aid patients getting to and from exam rooms and assist during examinations or procedures.
