This is a full-time, on-site position at a single campus, in person every day, across one of 12 available markets: Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, La Jolla, or Malibu, CA; Austin, TX; Atlanta, GA; Boca Raton, FL; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Greenwich, CT; Nashville, TN; or Park City, UT. Families invest significantly, conduct thorough research, and pose challenging questions about academic rigor and standards within the first ten minutes of contact. The model succeeds only when enrolled families genuinely align with its philosophy. In a small cohort environment, a single misaligned family transforms the experience for everyone. You will lead the complete admissions cycle for one campus. Initial contact, alignment discussion, campus visit, trial day, and enrollment decision—you are the consistent point of contact from inquiry through the student's first day. A typical week includes: responding to all inquiries within four hours, guiding a questioning parent through afternoon programming, facilitating a shadow day, documenting everything in HubSpot, and informing a family their child would thrive better elsewhere. You will manage 20 or more families simultaneously at various decision stages. You make the fit determination, and you communicate the outcome directly, in person, using your own language. The network is expanding, and operational standards evolve alongside that growth. What You Will Be Doing Leading the complete enrollment experience for every prospective family, from initial inquiry to onboarding, and conducting a thorough fit assessment before presenting the program. Managing 20 or more families concurrently, responding to all inquiries promptly and reviewing applications on a daily basis. Facilitating campus tours, open houses, informational sessions, and shadow days that clearly communicate program fit and exclusions. Developing the admission or denial recommendation and personally communicating the decision to each family. Maintaining up-to-date records in HubSpot and the student information system (SIS) following every touchpoint, leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for preparation and documentation, and providing weekly pipeline updates to leadership. What You Won’t Be Doing Pursuing enrollment volume metrics. Enrolling a family who departs is a more damaging outcome than declining a poor-fit applicant. Having your fit judgment overridden to preserve a relationship or meet enrollment targets. Following scripted pitches, executing mass outreach campaigns, or offering price concessions to close. Transferring families through multiple staff members, or awaiting committee approval for standard communications. Conducting surface-level tours that avoid addressing difficult questions. Director Of Membership Key Responsibilities Secure the right-fit families for one campus and ensure even declined applicants experience exceptional service. Basic Requirements 3 or more years in a direct client-facing role where the buyer was an individual or family at $25,000 or more per client, or $2,000 or more monthly. (Direct-to-consumer only; B2B and enterprise sales do not apply.) You have directly managed a complete client, admissions, or enrollment cycle from initial inquiry to final commitment. You have concurrently handled 7 or more client relationships using a CRM, database, or tracking platform. You have declined a prospective client from purchasing, enrolling, or joining due to misalignment. You have integrated AI tools into client-facing processes. You deliver concise, professional communication in both live and written formats with executives, high-net-worth clients, or other discerning audiences. You can nurture multi-touchpoint relationships spanning 30 or more days and maintain engagement with families not immediately ready to commit. Background in luxury residential real estate, private banking, family office services, concierge medicine, or premium event planning, where families served as your primary clients. You designed the enrollment workflow or service framework rather than inheriting an established system. You maintain existing relationships with affluent families, preschools, or family advisors in one of the 12 markets. Owner-operator background where you personally sold, delivered, and retained high-value clients.
