• Additional call hours required.
• Approximately 70-80 hours in a 4-week period.
• Response time is 30 minutes.

Description:

Delivers care to patients intra-operatively, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assists in operations under the supervision of physicians, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel. Responsible for creating and maintaining the sterile field. Prepares the operating room by collecting needed supplies and equipment. Passes instruments and other supplies to surgeons. Functions within the sterile field. Provides high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Specialties include ENT, General, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, Urology, OB/Gynecology, and Endoscopy procedures.
