Senior Estimator Qualifications

5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience

Proven experience estimating ground-up commercial construction projects

Diverse commercial project experience across multiple sectors preferred

Strong ability to develop accurate estimates, budgets, scopes, and bid proposals

Thorough understanding of subcontractor scopes, material costs, labor, pricing, and project margins

Experience soliciting, reviewing, leveling, and negotiating subcontractor and vendor bids

Ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis

Experience evaluating change orders, project costs, and potential cost impacts

Strong understanding of project profitability and ability to contribute to accurate cost projections

Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred, but not required
