English Teacher – High School Deadline: June 29, 2026 District/Organization: Saginaw Township Community Schools Position/Type: Teacher, full time Salary: $46,041 – $95,103 per year Position Details District Overview Saginaw Township Schools is located in a multi-cultural and vibrant community in mid-Michigan. Position Overview Heritage High School is searching for a teacher with a passion for students and a belief in teaching the whole child. Taking ownership of the students’ growth and adjusting as necessary to maximize learning is essential. This individual will have the ability and the will to teach all students, including those students who have unique challenges in learning and will strive to close the achievement gap for them. Regular, in‑person attendance is required. Minimum Qualifications Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate, highly preferred English (BA) or English Language Arts (BX/BQ) endorsement Specific training to teach at the High School level is preferred. Mental/Physical Requirements Regular, in‑person attendance required Maintain emotional control under stress Ability to use sound judgment; tact and courtesy in a variety of situations Work with frequent interruptions Repetitive hand motions Prolonged use of computer Possible occasional lifting or pushing of up to 40 pounds Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, bending and kneeling for extended periods during the workday Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
