Performance and store bonuses can bring average earnings to approximately $20.00/hr for management who meet all performance and training criteria. Job Summary The Salon Director in Training helps drive store performance, fosters superior client service, and maintains operational excellence. This individual will manage and supervise Tanning Consultants to achieve company goals and will lead by example in all company operations. Responsibilities Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast‑paced environment. Lead by example in creating a client‑centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations. Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment. Set clear goals and objectives for team members. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve team members’ performance. Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions. Assist the Salon Director in controlling top‑line revenue and expenses. Ensure proper staffing levels to maximize productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs. Work nights and weekends as required. Work a 5‑day week with approximately 35 to 45 hours per week, depending on hourly or salary status. Qualifications Management and/or sales experience required. Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to manage effectively in a fast‑paced environment, juggling multiple situations. Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices. Problem‑solving and organizational/planning skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor. Team‑building skills. Ability to prioritize and delegate. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for long periods. Bend to clean tanning equipment. Lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes. Bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from floors. Perform salon cleaning functions such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing.
