Subcontract Analyst

Job Overview:POSITION SUMMARY:The Contract Specialist will develop, coordinate, and administer contracts for products and/or services for Primoris Renewables. They negotiate, extend, and renegotiate contracts as appropriate. They serve as a primary point of liaison with subcontractors and monitor existing contracts for compliance with terms and conditions.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Negotiate, establish, and administer contractual arrangements for various subcontract services.Evaluate or monitor contractor performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.Analyze and approve or reject internal and/or contractor requests for deviations from contract specifications.Serve as a primary liaison with contracting representatives to ensure compliance with contract specifications and resolution of problems and issues, as they arise.Monitor and evaluate contractor performance against contract specifications and recommend appropriate remedial action as necessary.May assist and/or provide input into the formulation, development, and/or revision of operating policies, procedures, and strategies for the organization, as appropriate.Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:BS degree in business administration or equivalent.Experience in solar, power generation or construction required.2+ years of experience in Procurement.1+ years of experience negotiating contracts.Experience in Microsoft (Word, Excel, etc.) is required.Experience and skill with SAP & Viewpoint preferred.Proficient in development and adherence to procurement procedures and plans.Multi-task and provide support to multiple internal clients daily.PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.Knowledge of contract documents and specifications.Ability to analyze and solve problems.Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations.Ability to make procedural decisions and judgments.Organizational and coordination skills.Skilled in the negotiation and establishment of contractual arrangements for goods and services.Knowledge of contractor compliance issues and procedures, as applicable to a public institution.Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality.Ability to travel as needed (approximately 5-10%).Benefits and Pay:Paid Company HolidaysPaid Time OffWe provide paid sick leave as required by Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Short Term/Long Term Disability, 401K with matching contribution.Salary $80,000 - $90,000 annually, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies.Equal Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
