Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds – Pre-OP 8, PACU 6, Procedure Rooms 4

· Number of Staff – Variable Based on Case Volumes, Range 12-16

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – Regular Unit Hours are 0600-1800

o Night Shift – Call Shifts start at 1700 or 1800 dependent of FTE status

· Patient Ratios – Variable

· Type of equipment – Olympus Scopes, ERBE, Medivator, ION, Boston Scientific, Cook

· EMR - Cerner

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· BLS, ACLS, PALS, Active NC or Compact State Nursing License

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Pediatric Endoscopy Experience

· Pulmonary Endoscopy Experience

· Endoscopy Tech Experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Adult EGD, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, EBUS, Bronchoscopy, ION Navigational Bronchoscopy, Esophageal/Duodenal/Colonic/Axios Stent Placements, PEG Placement, Tracheostomy Placement, Pulmonary Cryo Therapy, Capsule Endoscopy, and Foreign Body Removal

· Pediatric EGD, Sigmoidoscopy, and Colonoscopy (Age Ranges < 1 – 18)

Best Personality Fit: Someone that is not looking to drive back and forth to their permanent residence daily.
