RN: PCU/IMC/Stepdown

Job Description: Join the team as a travel Registered Nurse in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiac unit at a renowned cardiac center. This 13-week assignment is based in a 30-bed Progressive Care Unit housed within a state-of-the-art hospital. During your nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, you will manage patients recovering from procedures like heart caths, TAVRs, and open-heart surgeries, working with advanced equipment such as telemetry monitors, ventilators, and IV pumps. Expect to collaborate closely with a highly skilled staff of RNs and PCTs, handling patient ratios around 1:4 or 1:5. This role requires a minimum of 1-year recent acute care PCU experience, BLS and ACLS certification, and skills like chest tube management, pacer wire removal, and EKG interpretation.
