About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Development and Community Health for its Southwest Region. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for driving revenue generation and community health impact activities across a multi-market territory. This role demands a passionate individual with a proven track record in team building, and a visionary approach to achieving aggressive goals. The SVP will work closely with Executive Directors and Boards of Directors to create and execute strategies that link the mission to fundraising, and will be accountable for a significant revenue goal. The position requires a goal-oriented, and inspiring leader who can cultivate effective relationships with donors, supporters, and volunteers, and who is adept at securing sponsorships and building a compelling case for donor support. Applicants for the SVP position should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years' work experience in fundraising or outside sales, and at least 7 years of management/leadership experience. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to analyze financial data, and a proven ability to lead and motivate staff and volunteers. The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate event leadership with a national not-for-profit and experience in setting and achieving ambitious goals. The SVP will be expected to travel extensively within the territory, and the position is hybrid, with a significant amount of time spent on the road.
